21 Days Lockdown - Days 12 & 13

Hello everyone! I hope all of you are fine and are trying to cope up with the stress of the lockdown. It's already 6th of this month and its 9 more days until this lockdown. The past 48 hours have been a little surprising for me as I have been able to enjoy my time in the lockdown. It all started with my last blog for which I got quite a few positive responses. Some of my readers actually loved my idea of avoiding social media for a few days and told me that they would implement the same. Apart from that great news I also have gone through a change of environment from my monotonous schedule of the lockdown. First, I have been able to cope up with my studies as a final year student should. When you have a habit of reading, learning and working throughout your life and suddenly your daily schedule is disturbed it makes you a little mad. I think the same phenomenon was happening to me to which I confused with chaos in my mind. Maybe it was no confusion or chaos but the feeling of...

21 Days Lockdown - Day 4

Hello everyone! Today is the Day 4 of the lockdown and I hope all of you are feeling fit and fine. I am hopeful that most of you are not bored at your home and enjoying a good time with your families. As compared to the other three days, I had a pretty average day. As I decided yesterday I started my day pretty early with a small training session for all the residents who are to be posted in COVID-19 screening clinic. Although, most of the instructions which were given in the training session were the same as before with some extra added instructions according to Government's Advisories which have recently surfaced.  The thing which I would like to discuss today is - Fear. Fear of the unknown, to be more precise. When I woke up in the morning I suddenly realised that I was in the middle of a pandemic and was about to be posted in the middle of the positive cases. I believe a metaphorical battlefield. The gravity of the situation gripped my mind. I will not deny that my...

Old and Alone!!

Leaving from a very long and tiring duty towards my mess I felt that I was Old and Alone. While crossing the main road (as we have to; to reach the other part of the campus) I took a step down from the sidewalk. The left knee buckled and I almost fell on my face on the road ahead which was full of traffic. The feeling of being old was pretty obvious from that but soon after the incident, I realised that none of the people (my batchmates) around me came to help. Not that I particularly wanted them to come and pick me up but enquiring about not getting injured was at least what I was expecting out of them. Before you judge me, read me a little further. I am no fool who would count this one incident as a reason to write about this topic nor am I a man who is particularly sensitive to share feelings and someone who wants others to pity him. These are just some feelings which I like to describe to my readers from time to time.               ...

Your Kind Words !!

The inspiration to write this particular piece came from one of my friends. After completing Attention Attention !! 2.0 I have been encouraged by her to write about two particular problems (in detail) which exist due to the chaos created by the social media and technology nowadays. Here, I would like to express my thoughts about one of those points. Before I do so I would like to say, that, I do not consider myself as an expert on commenting about trends but these are few of my observations in daily life about - Misuse of Technology and Trolling.  I would like to start expressing myself by explaining, what freedom of speech means in the real sense. It just means that you have a basic birthright to say whatever you want without censorship or penalties. Yeah ! Literally, it means that. We as netizens have this blog or other blogs because of this right. Today we can express ourselves in any way we want. We can call names to the leader of our country or we can freely comment ...
